Help find the 14,000 men who need treatment for prostate cancer
We are supporting Prostate Cancer UK and NHS England’s campaign to find 14,000 men who have not started treatment for prostate cancer since the beginning of the pandemic.
Mainly affecting men over the age of 50, prostate cancer is particularly prevalent among the black community with 1 in 4 men from this population group impacted by the disease. The National Healthcare Inequalities Improvement Programme has identified early cancer diagnosis as one of the five clinical areas of focus in the Core20PLUS5 approach and we would appreciate your support in raising awareness of an online risk checker which is available to help narrow the treatment gap and reduce health inequalities. The risk checker takes 30-seconds to complete and helps men understand their risk of prostate cancer.
