Following on from the 'Supporting People experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping' Webinar in February, the National Healthcare Inequalities Improvement Team are pleased to invite you to a further webinar on High Intensity Use.

Join Bola Owolabi, Director of Health Inequalities, Vin Diwakar, Medical Director for Transformation, and Rhian Monteith, NHS Specialist Advisor (High Intensity Use), to find out how you can better support people who access A&E and are admitted to hospital more than expected.

High Intensity Use services are commissioned and delivered at local level, regionally led and supported at national level. Outcomes include reducing health inequalities and a reduction in avoidable emergency department attendances and avoidable admissions.

Join the webinar to find out what national support is available. Whether you are setting up a new HIU service, maintaining an existing service, expanding an existing HIU service to a wider footprint or restarting a service that has lapsed.

Implementing a HIU service will support the delivery of the 2023/24 Planning Guidance and the Urgent and Emergency Care Recovery Plan and UEC Framework.
