Right now, the future of the Cheshire & Merseyside Integrated Care System (ICS) is being shaped with the development of a Clinical and Care Leadership Framework (see HCP website). It will outline how clinical and care professionals will be involved in all aspects of ICS decision-making.

It is essential that it is developed and owned by us, because it will influence our daily work and how we work together.  This framework is being developed over the next few months using an interactive collaboration tool called Idea Drop. There will be a series of questions/challenges over the coming months where you can drop your ideas, view and comment on the ideas of others, and see how ideas move through a ‘pipeline’ as the framework develops.

 Get involved

Sign up to Idea Drop and an invitation will be emailed to you within one business day. Download the Idea Drop app through your usual app store to get ready.

 More information

NHS England has published a guidance document on what a good clinical and care leadership framework looks like, as well as five guiding principles for its development. All ICSs in England are required to submit a leadership framework to the NHS prior to 1 July 2022.
